New Mini Paddle Level Switch

The purpose of the rotary paddle level switch is to detect the presence of solid/dusty material in most tanks, bins and containers. The unit is usually positioned through the wall of a bin at the top, middle or bottom level of a bin. During normal operation (no material), a synchronous motor rotates the paddle at a number of revolutions per minute. When the rotation of the vane is impeded by material surrounding it, the motor stops and causes the microswitch to change state (indicating an alarm or control).

Specs
  • The robust sealing ring prevents dust from penetrating the housing along the shaft.
  • Adjustable torque
  • If the rotating blade encounters an overload, the motor automatically shuts down to prevent damage to internal mechanisms and prolong motor life.
  • Very suitable for small tanks and low-density materials.
  • Models with adjustable and extendable shaft are available.
  • A wide range of paddles is available.
